I am a mom, a wife, and an English Teacher. Being all of these things in life has connected me to the world in a  purposeful way. The joy of teaching my children and other people’s children has taught me more about my life and the world than I could have learned on my own. I love writing, reading, and nature. Haiku are wonderful because they are powerful and brief and push their writer to choose his or her words carefully.

All of my poems are of my own original creation, unless otherwise noted.

The poems on this blog belong to me (unless credited to another) and may only be reproduced with my written permission.
